A true labor of love, this very unique nativity set is made from sheep’s wool sourced from Bedouins in the Bethlehem area, then processed by hand into wool yarn by very special people with special needs in Ma’an lil Hayaat.
This Christmas nativity includes 10 pieces as a set but does NOT include the felted tree. It is sold separately here.
These beautiful nativity pieces are made by people with special needs at Ma’an lil Hayat which a fun and safe environment to play and work. From start to finish, they clean and dye the wool, felt it into yarn and wrap each piece. We made a little video about the process here.
